I’ve been a patient of Dr. Bentz for about 20 years and for good reason. Dr. Bentz, Paula and the rest of the staff are as nice as they come. The professionalism is tops as is the work he has performed. He has saved many teeth, made my smile something to be proud of and kept me in good health. I love that they use the latest equipment (and not just dental equipment; years ago they were the first I ever heard of to have an iPod for patients’ use!).
Paula is always looking for the best way to use my insurance and save me some money. And it sure doesn’t hurt to have those lovely dogs around to pet and help calm me down (hey, who doesn’t get at least a little tense walking into a dentist’s office?).

Scheduling an appointment is always easy, with a reminder phone call the day before the appointment. Paula always provides a warm friendly greeting and the rest of his staff works tirelessly to provide a most comfortable experience.
Dr. Bentz is very professional and always takes the time to explain what dental work needs to be done and why. He is very thorough in his examinations and procedures. What truly impresses me is his incredible attention to detail and perfectionism, ensuring that each procedure is completed methodically and systematically to his satisfaction. He invests the extra time to verify that the bite is correct after a procedure and the color of a new crown naturally matches the color of the surrounding teeth. He is responsible for my “hollywood smile” and we are grateful for his continuing care!

A wonderful experience as far as going to the dentist goes. Dr Bentz is highly knowledgeable, very professional and hugely experienced. He takes the time to teach and discuss all the procedures being performed. He also uses the most up to date technology. The atmosphere is so pleasant with their dogs greeting each patient at the door. Paula, his wife and admin assistant is very kind and helpful. She does an outstanding job of making sure all claims are sent into your insurance and you’re only paying out of pocket what is due. It is definitely a business of quality vs quantity. The staff is small and very attentive to your needs. I highly recommend Dr Bentz and his team for your dental needs.

Dr. Michael Bentz has been my dentist since 1989. Shortly after moving back to Boulder, I had a dental emergency and hadn’t found a dentist yet. Dr. Bentz came in on his day off to take care of me as a brand new patient! Since then, I have had a lot of work done to fix my neglected teeth. Over the years I have moved to and from Boulder a few times and each time I tried to find a dentist in another state, the entire staff would be called in to look at the great work done on my teeth. One of the dentists even refused to fill a cavity and told me to wait until I was back in Boulder to have Dr. Bentz take care of it!!!

Michael Bentz has been my dentist for over 10 years.Paula and his office staff treat me like family. He’s extremely competent and uses state of the art methods. Since starting there, I never had to go back for the same cavity over and over like I did with some others. In a world where many things are becoming so impersonal, I’m lucky to have a dentist and staff that I actually enjoy going to visit, as much as anyone can enjoy dental work. They have treated our family with affection and respect, considering the whole person and our individual needs. I highly recommend him and his staff.
